The Promotions Committee promotes the neighborhood business area; its cultural diversity, unique and historic architecture and scale, retail, services and restaurant offerings from its eclectic and diverse small businesses. Promotions informs the public about Adams Morgan Main Street activities, events, & projects, such as tree plantings, clean-ups, callbox restoration, and wine tastings.
JOIN US! Write articles, see your by-line in print. Take pictures. Coordinate events, work with the press. Help with graphics, web, or brochures.
We’ve done several retail promotions: ribbon-cutting for Design Within Reach, Mayor’s Retail and New Tree Walk,” One initiative is to assist local retail businesses by spreading awareness of all the Adams Morgan restaurants that offer lunch. The Promotions Committee meets at 7:00pm every 2nd Wednesday at the MainStreet Office, 1815 Adams Mill Rd., NW, 2nd Floor (to the right of KogiBow Bakery).
